Oh hello. I hope you are headed into a really fun summertime weekend. It’s been very hot here in Kelowna, and summertime is in full swing. We have a big lake here in the city so we all head there to cool off and relax. I have a wonderfully quiet and efficient air conditioner in my new apartment. I really like being able to control the temperature in my own home. Something that I was unable to do in my old place. I would freeze in summertime being in the basement. Anyway, I am not freezing nor am I too hot. I am happy to say I am comfortable. For those of you who don’t have AC I feel for you during these long summer months. Oh hello there. I am happy you are sharing a part of your weekend with me. For those of you that are worried, yes the Okanagan was hit with wild fires again but I am safe and so is the entire town. We all smell a bit like campfire but all is well. You can see how spectacular the fires look at night. Let’s pray for the forest animals in hopes that they find water and food as they relocate from their homes to new areas that aren’t full of fire and smoke. We now call the area Smokanagan as it’s becoming the norm that wild fires run rampant after lightening storms during the summer months. Anyway, to those of you that were worried, the kitties and I are fine.

This fantastic box is made by using a piece of 12 by 12 DSP called Share what you love and it’s just lovely thick paper. If you like paper like I do then you will really like it. It’s luxurious, with it’s shiny parts. Happy Friday to you. This is the last project of the “Bonnie Inspired” series that I have been sharing with you for the past month. I really have to say that I had a lot of fun replicating the projects that my customer Bonnie from Vancouver Island has shared with me. Even though we have never met, she has made an impression on me. I hope that she feels the same. It’s very nice to meet people who share the same love of paper crafting. Bonnie is very talented in the way of making paper flowers and I am so honoured to have one of her works of art. So, thank you one last time Bonnie for the inspiration and the friendship. If ever I am in your neighbourhood I shall look you up for a lesson on how to make those beautiful flowers.
My project for today is a wee box, that is so sweet. Before I get into the project I do want to make mention that I really appreciate all my customers and the folks that have deemed me as their team leader. I am very blessed to be making some strides in this industry. Stampin’ Up! has incentive trips for their demonstrators to try to earn and I want to say that I have been trying very hard to earn the next incentive trip. My last real holiday was in 1999 when I went to England for a week. For the last 18 years I have just done a few road trips around Canada and just slightly over the border to the States. The furthest south I have been is Portland, the furthest east I have been is Vulcan, AB (look it up…it’s a real place for Trekkers) North would be Edmonton and West would be Victoria BC. I have dreamed about going to Greece. It’s on my bucket list. I mentioned in my news letter recently that the stars have aligned a little for me this year with having some amazing gals who are on my team who have not only joined Stampin’ Up! but also have advanced in title. Stampin’ Up rewards leadership and sales goals with special points called Flex Points. This point system is how one earns the incentive trip. The trip takes 160,000 points. I have 93,000 (ish). I have until September 30 to make up the rest of the points and I am going to hustle.
For the next 3 months, I will be releasing time sensitive product based online classes. Short side scoring: DRAW pencil line at 1″, 2″, 6″ & 7″.
Score with ruler angled lines within the pencil line and the score lines, creating triangles. Burnish all score lines and then trim away triangles on the outside of the card stock only.

Hello and happy long weekend to you. I hope you have a lovely plan to start the festivities off well. That is if you are Canadian. For those of you who are not from this fantastic country, we celebrate Victoria Day (or May-two-four or May Long) and it is a national, statutory holiday for most of the country. There are some weirdo provinces that don’t celebrate it as a stat. Anyway, it’s about celebrating Queen Victoria’s birthday…I believe that would be our current Queen’s grandmother (correct me if I am wrong). Anyway, it’s just a really nice beginning to the summer. I for one am going to try to get caught up on work. Blogging & YouTubing the day before a project is due is getting tiring. I must try to get ahead or when it gets really busy I shall be in hot water. Lol. I am not worried. Loads of time before the new catalogue hits. Are you all ready and getting excited.

Hello there. I am just getting ready for my first Diva Day. I am super excited to share Saturday afternoon with half of my team (the others are out of province). I have created 6 projects that they can complete if they so choose plus I have a bag full of goodies that I want to spoil them with. They should be rewarded as they choose me as their team leader (obviously they didn’t know what they were getting into). Lol.
