Hello friends. For today’s project I am using the most masculine patterned paper that Stampin’ Up! has in their annual catalogue. I have an online class using this paper and the stamp set and dies. I will say that the dies are very versatile and I reach for them quite often when I am crafting. The box build today is so very manly but I am sure that you could tailor it to suit a cute and sweet design too! I hope that you create it yourself. Any questions? Shoot me an email.

 The Details:

• 2 pcs Cardstock sized at 6-1/4″ x 6-1/4″
• Score one cardstock on one side at 1/2″ and 2″ then turn a quarter and score at 3/4″, 2-1/4″ and 5-1/4″
• Score the other piece of cardstock at 4-1/4″ and 5-3/4″, turn a quarter and score at 3/4″, 2-1/4″ and 5-1/4″ .

To Decorate;

• 2 pcs patterned paper sized at 2-7/8″ tall x 4-1/8″ wide for the front and back
• 2 pcs patterned paper sized 2-7/8″ tall x 1-3/8″ wide for the sides
• 1 pc sized at 1-3/8″ by 4-1/8 wide for the top.

• extra piece of cardstock for the flippy easel part sized at 9″ x 3-3/4″ scored at a 4-1/2″

To Decorate;

• For the main card base top a piece of patterned paper sized at 3″ tall x 4-1/8″ wide
• For the main card base bottom a piece of cardstock sized at 3-1/4″ tall x 4-1/8 wide
• For the main card base bottom (where the stopper for the easel card goes) a piece of patterned paper sized at 2″ tall x 4-1/8″ wide
• For the front flappy easel part of the card a piece of patterned paper sized at 3-1/8″ tall x 4-1/8 wide

Hello friends. I am shaking things up here on my channel and blog. I am going to alternate Fridays with Fun Folds and Boxes. I thought it would be interesting for some and maybe a refresher for others. I, myself don’t know what the heck the names of the folds are so please excuse my ignorance. I have to say, this slim line fun fold was super fun to decorate. Never fear, I have written all the details below…so let’s get into it.

I have quite a few in the playlist now and every year I shall create a new way of holding your cards and making the project fun and beautiful. Hey friends. I do apologize for this post being a few days late. I get pretty busy during the week and if I am not really prepared then I get behind. However, I have decided NOT to procrastinate and put it off till the next week so this project comes to you just when I had time to product it. I am sure you know how life goes. I am not on summer holidays like many of you. I work Tuesday to Saturday full time but I do love my crafting time in the evenings and weekends. Hey everyone, I hope you are having a great Canada Day! I am doing a lot of catch up work here at my desk this long weekend. Will wonders never cease? I finally got around to editing some videos! Huzzah! It’s Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hello weekend. Spring is almost here! I think I enjoy spring and fall the most out of our 4 seasons. I have heard that Europe is getting a cold spell and same with the east part of Canada. Here in BC it’s becoming very green and people are getting their yards ready for plants. The first of our fruits that grow in our climate are berries and cherries but our last fruits in fall are stone fruits like peaches and apricots.

In homage to those stone fruits I thought I would use some fun DSP (patterned paper). This paper is retiring soon and you will no longer be able to get it. I guess this is the first installment of my month long mini series called…

 The Details:

• Cardstock sized 6-3/4″ x 9″
• Scored on the long side at: 1/2″, 3-1/4″, 4-3/4″ and 7-1/2″
• Score on the short side at: 1/2″, 2″, 4-3/4″, and 6-1/4″

Patterned Paper Sizing:

• 1 piece sized 2-5/8″ x 9-1/2″
• loosely scored at 2-3/4″, 4-1/4″ 7″, and 8-1/2″ I talk about this sizing in the video.

Hello and welcome to another fantastic project’s blog post. Today I am featuring a really awesome patterned paper called Heart & Home. The great thing about this paper is that it has a white washed wood B side. Why I think that is awesome is because it lends itself to simplistic or complicated card designs, it can have a woodsy cottage feel or it can go full on masculine! I feel that this paper is super versatile and encourage you to check it out.

 The Details:

Cut 2 pieces of cardstock sized 6-1/2″ x 6-1/2″ and score each the same.

• Score one side at 2″ and 5-3/4″ turn score and the other side at 3/4″, 2-3/4″ and 4-3/4″.

Patterned Paper Sizing:

• 3 pcs sized at 3-1/2″ x 1-3/4″ for the front, back and top.
• 2 pcs sized at 1-3/4″ x 1-3/4″

One of my stamping friends asked me to create a fun box for Smarties. I was happy to oblige and hope that she is happy with what I came up with. I hope you enjoy this tutorial as well, perhaps you can fill this box with some other treat that is just as special as Smarties.

TGIF! I want to share a really awesome project with you today. I can’t tell you enough how versatile this paper is. I went from a diorama card to a greeting card with book mark to a pretty cube lidded box in my crafting adventure with this paper. Have you seen how pretty it is? Happy Friday to you. For today’s project I decided to venture out and do a masculine box. A nod to sports if you will. I am not sure what I shall put in this cute box or whom I shall gift it to but I thought it would be nice for a few folks out there that do have sports fans in their lives.
