Hello friends. The Paper Pumpkin Kit for April is called Delicate Wings and it really is a very pretty kit to complete. My alternatives don’t use up too much of the kit so you can be sure to use the kit the way it was intended and then also use some of the extras to complete an extra card or two.

Hey, Stamping friend! It starts again for another year, I am trying to do as many projects with the retiring products for a couple of different reasons. Reason 1: I feel guilty that I have these products and need to have a last kick of the can for said product. Fabricate Friday – Delightfully Floral Box

Hello friends. For today’s project I am sharing a really cute box using a beautiful patterned paper called poetic expressions. This DSP is no longer available for purchase, when I made this video it was, but I took too long to post this project and sadly the DSP has retired and won’t be coming back. HOWEVER, I feel that any patterned paper you use will be absolutely perfect for the build. Next week I will be celebrating the retiring list in the mini series Rocking the Retiring List and perhaps one of those papers that are on sale would be great for this project.

 The Details:

  • 1 pc of cardstock sized at 7-3/4″ x 7-3/4″ 
  • Score on one side at: 3/4″ x 4-7/8″
  • Other side at: 5/8″, 2-3/4″, 3-5/8″, and 5-7/8″.
  • Another piece of cardstock sized at 7-3/4″ x 5-1/2″
  • Score on the long side at 2-7/8″ & 7″
  • Score on the short side at 1-1/4″ & 3-1/2″

To Decorate with patterned paper and mats;

  • For the Lid: I cardstock mat sized at 4″ x 2-3/4″ and 1 piece patterned paper sized 3-7/8″ x 2-5/8″.
  • For the front and back: 2 cardstock mat sized at 4″ x 2-1/4″ and 2 pieces of patterned paper sized at 3-7/8 x 2-1/8″
  • For the sides: 2 cardstock mats sized 2-3/4 x 2-1/4″ and 2 pieces of patterned paper sized 2-5/8″ x 2-1/8″
