Wildcard Wednesday – Max’s card

Hello my friends.  I hope that you are having a great week.  While I was staying with my sister during the reconstruction of my apartment after the flood, both my niece and nephew were very interested in my goings on here on my blog and YouTube channel.  I invited them both to be a guest demonstrator and help me with the content I produce for inspiration for my customers and subscribers.  Last week was my niece helping me and this week it is my nephew.  I think they did a really good job and most of all they had fun.  They are both 15 and listen really well to instruction.  I didn’t have to help out very much at all.  Check out this masculine card that Max made.

Wildcard Wednesday – Embossing with Dies

Well hello there.  I have a fun technique to share with you today and it uses some products that you may already have in your stash!  Isn’t that the best?  You may not have to dash to the computer to order all the items that is needed to duplicate this technique but in case you do not please feel free to order from me today.  I would appreciate it so much if you did, and it would make my day!  Check this cute card out and I hope you try the embossing with dies technique.

Wildcard Wednesday – Experimenting with Glossy Cardstock

Hello there.  I hope you are doing well.  It’s almost the end of August and we are heading into fall.  I believe that we all start to do a little experimenting with our crafting supplies during this time to shake off the cobwebs on our mojo.  Since glossy cardstock is new in the catalog I have heard that there are many techniques one can do with it.  So, I went back to some of my mixed media products to see if this glossy cardstock is the same as the glossy cardstock I first learned this technique.  I think people are calling it “Polished Stone” but honestly, it does not look like polished stone to me.  So, you probably have noticed that I am not big into giving techniques names…especially when they don’t make sense.  So, call it what you will…this is my take on it.

Wildcard Wednesday – A Glossy Cardstock Technique

Hello and welcome.  It’s my birthday today!  I am 29 with shipping and handling.  I really love the stamp set I used today as it is so cute.  It is also the set that has the little copyright stamp so that many can sell their cards at craft fairs.  That policy is called the “Angel Policy”.  If you want more information about how it all works please email me.  I would be more than happy let you know of the details.  Anyway, on with this card.  I think the technique I used on this card is called “Wipe, striped” technique.  I honestly do not know.  I learned this little gem from my friend Sarah Flemming.  Anyway, I think the thing you are interested in is the technique not the name so here goes.  Check it out.

Wildcard Wednesday – First day!

Hello all and thank you so much for stopping in.  Today is the first day of my new Wednesday card video series.  I know a few of you will be disappointed that I am not sharing an Art Video, but it’s already August and I honestly haven’t had time this year to create in my Art Journal.  Not with trying to balance career and my “jobby” here.  With the start of the Email club a few months ago, and the Online card classes plus my admin work on several Facebook groups…there isn’t a lot of extra time just to play.  However, I am not saying I won’t ever do another one, but for now I am filling Wednesdays up with cards!  I know quite a few of you will be happy.  If you enjoy Monday Makes then Wildcard Wednesday is up your alley.

I have decided to produce more content in an attempt to inspire more people more often, and to hopefully have a farther reach across the country.  I don’t know if you know this but I am unable to host workshops in my home as it is too small.  Many demonstrators I know have club nights and craft workshops and I am at a loss because I just can’t do it.  I have 2 avenues in which to gain customers, I ask people to host the workshops in their homes or I can put a lot of content up on the inter webs in hopes to gain a nice customer base.  95% of my customers are online now and I do very much appreciate them and really try hard to earn their business.  So that is my plan with this new video series.  I shall endeavor to create and produce more inspiration and really work hard for those customers.

This is the card I am sharing today.  It’s “art journal” inspired and I love it.
