Wildcard Wednesday – Another new release

Hi there.  I hope you don’t mind but I really need to step away from the Holiday cards right now.  I made so many for Christmas Crush and the weeks after that I am kinda done with that type of card.  Being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator means that we can PRE ORDER products that won’t be available to the public for a while.  New crafting supplies is helping me shake off all the snowflakes and getting me geared up for spring.

That being said, the new products WILL NOT be available for purchase until the Occasions catalogue goes live January 3, 2018.  However, feel free to jot the sku numbers down I have included in my product supplies list.  If it’s a new product you are wanting, the link will not take you to the store until Jan 3, 2018.  I hope I have made this clear.  I share 4 examples from this stamp set (all similar in design).  Watch the video till the end for the examples.

Stampin’ Blends in Action

Hello, welcome to my blog.  I am so happy you are here to spend a little time with me today, thank you so much. Today’s project just lent itself to discussing a few ways on how to use Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers.  I briefly go over 3 ways to blend the alcohol markers and I share a really cute card in the process.  I like simple cards and this is one of them…who would know that there is a bit of colouring techniques in the mix?

Here’s the project for today.

Wildcard Wednesday – Max’s card

Hello my friends.  I hope that you are having a great week.  While I was staying with my sister during the reconstruction of my apartment after the flood, both my niece and nephew were very interested in my goings on here on my blog and YouTube channel.  I invited them both to be a guest demonstrator and help me with the content I produce for inspiration for my customers and subscribers.  Last week was my niece helping me and this week it is my nephew.  I think they did a really good job and most of all they had fun.  They are both 15 and listen really well to instruction.  I didn’t have to help out very much at all.  Check out this masculine card that Max made.

Wildcard Wednesday – Experimenting with Glossy Cardstock

Hello there.  I hope you are doing well.  It’s almost the end of August and we are heading into fall.  I believe that we all start to do a little experimenting with our crafting supplies during this time to shake off the cobwebs on our mojo.  Since glossy cardstock is new in the catalog I have heard that there are many techniques one can do with it.  So, I went back to some of my mixed media products to see if this glossy cardstock is the same as the glossy cardstock I first learned this technique.  I think people are calling it “Polished Stone” but honestly, it does not look like polished stone to me.  So, you probably have noticed that I am not big into giving techniques names…especially when they don’t make sense.  So, call it what you will…this is my take on it.

Wildcard Wednesday – A Glossy Cardstock Technique

Hello and welcome.  It’s my birthday today!  I am 29 with shipping and handling.  I really love the stamp set I used today as it is so cute.  It is also the set that has the little copyright stamp so that many can sell their cards at craft fairs.  That policy is called the “Angel Policy”.  If you want more information about how it all works please email me.  I would be more than happy let you know of the details.  Anyway, on with this card.  I think the technique I used on this card is called “Wipe, striped” technique.  I honestly do not know.  I learned this little gem from my friend Sarah Flemming.  Anyway, I think the thing you are interested in is the technique not the name so here goes.  Check it out.
