Fabricate Friday – Scentsy Box

Hello and welcome to another 3D tutorial.  I have the pleasure to share with you today how to create a beautiful box to house your Scentsy Wax Melts in.  These wax melts are inexpensive and yet are great as gifts.  I have purchased the diffusers as gifts for people and when it comes to packaging up the wax melts I was struggling to make them look pretty.  I have a solution to my problem.  Check it out

Wonderwork Wednesday – One Sheet Wonder

Hello my friends.  Today is just a visual of the multitude of cards I made recently.  I have been taking part of an exchange of sorts.  I have sent out 40+ greeting cards to other demonstrators and lovers of Stampin’ Up.  This Random Act of Kindness is facilitated by a Australian Demonstrator Kylie Bertucci.  She is a very nice lady and has ranked #8 in the global 100 for Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators.  Anyway, I wanted to make a lot of cards all at once.  There are many one sheet wonder directions out there on the Internets and I do encourage you all to try them.  I thought that this would be a really nice topic to chat about during a FACEBOOK LIVE event for the month of March since I have never chatted about it before.

I am not sure of the date in March because my schedule may change and I need to hog the internet (so it’s best if my neighbours aren’t home).  That being said, you all are welcome to like my Facebook page so you can get a notice and I will do like I did before and set the date a day before it happens.  I will give you all the measurements then and show you exactly how they all come together by doing it right in front of you.  I encourage you to have a look at your stash and find one sheet of 12 by 12 patterned paper ready to go so we can do it together!

Enjoy the show and have nice day!

Fabricate Friday – Box for a round jar/tub

Hello there.  How are you all today.  I hope you are starting off your weekend with something fun to do.  If not, here’s a fun box to make to keep you entertained. 🙂  I’m a giver, what can I say?  Lol.  I hope you enjoy today’s project, as it is using my favorite patterned paper “Cupcakes & Carousels”.  To my knowledge, I have never been on a carousel, my Mom may correct me if I am wrong, she comments on most of my blog posts and she’s my editor (I need something stronger than spell check, don’t you know?)  Anyway, I just love the vintage feel of the design and of course the colours.  So saffron is my favorite yellow and I really dig the peach too.  Tell me what your favorite Stampin’ Up! colour is…I would like to know.  On with the show…

Paper Pumpkin Alternatives for February 2017

Hi, today is the day I release my Paper Pumpkin Alternative Video.  In case you are new to my blog let me give you a quick overview of what I do here.  I have quite a few Paper Pumpkin Subscribers.  In order to help them along, I decided to create alternatives from my kit to offer inspiration and designs that are not in the box.  I think it’s a great way to be creative and allows one to stretch the supplies that come in the box.  That being said, I do sometimes reach for a few items out of my stash every now and again.  I try hard to use what I have been supplied though.  I make 5 card designs from one little box each month but this month I added 9 more.  In the video I explain that I will go over the measurements and such during my next FACEBOOK LIVE EVENT which will happen in march sometime.  I will let you know the date when it becomes available.

Have you heard the good news? Right now is Saleabration and there are many ways to get FREE items.   One way is by purchasing a Paper Pumpkin 3 month subscription.   The BONUS here is that the Paper Pumpkin 3-month subscriptions are on sale! Plus, you can choose a FREE Sale-A-Bration item. Win-win!  Click the photo to order and be whisked away to the online store now.

Today’s video is my alternatives for this month’s paper pumpkin.  I hope you like it.

As I mention in the video, in March I will have another Facebook even and share with you the dimensions of the 9 cards I show at the end.  Feel free to like me on Facebook to get the notification when the live broadcast will air.  Click here to see me on Facebook.

Fabricate Friday – Box for Nivia

I know, I know…the titles of my posts are ridiculous.  I would hire someone to come up with amazing titles for everything but basically today I am making a box that houses a small tin of Nivia cold cream.  I do have a funny story included in the video about my family so even if you aren’t a box maker you may want to tune in to hear the way my family worked when I was little.  Don’t worry Mom, I haven’t spilled the beans about how weird we all were.  🙂  Anyway….hello there and welcome to another box making tutorial everyone.  Woop, woop!  It’s Friday and it’s a great day to get your craft on.  Hope you like the video and of course the supply list is below the still picture and the video follows that, with the recipe underneath.  Have yourself a great weekend folks and I will see you Monday. Oh, PS, I didn’t realize that this ribbon was retired so in the description I did leave an alternative for you to try if you like the colour.  🙂

Monday Makes – A Primary Colour Splatter Card

Hello and thank you for stopping by.  Today is a “SIP” card…stamp, ink and paper.  Totally simple but with real impact.  Using primary colors with a deep rich black sentiment is the way to go for impact.  Sometimes, one does not need much to created a really striking card.  An effective stamp, some fun colours and of course quality paper.  I really like the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set and it has been neglected for a while.  🙂  Hope you like it.
