Fabricate Friday – Sparkle Pockets

Hello.  I hope you are having a good Easter Friday.  If you are celebrating Easter I hope that you have a lovely weekend with your family.  At the time I am writing this post my plans are yet undetermined.

Last week I mentioned that I was attending a Stampin’ Up! event and that I had made some treats for the girls that are apart of the team that I am on.  So here is the project.  I thought it was so cute.  I tried really hard to use up most of my glimmer paper or else it would be all for naught and I would never cut into it.  I think there are many of us that are like that.  So by chopping into that stack of paper I was left with bits left over that will make for a lovely (but small) hoarding.  🙂

This project is made with the Envelope Punch board and I have to say that it is one of the most versatile products out there.  If you do not have one yet please get yourself one.  It’s not just for envelopes.  In case you want to see what the Envelope Punch Board check out my YouTube Playlist.   Of course only check that out after you see the project for today.  🙂

Here are the links to what I have used on today’s project. Please click on the picture or wording to be taken to the online store. If you make a purchase after clicking on my link, I receive a small commission as your demonstrator with no extra cost to you. I truly appreciate your support when shopping with me. Fabricate Friday – Handy Notes

Hello, I hope you are all well and doing wonderful.  Today I am driving to Calgary to attend a Stampin’ Up! event called Onstage.  This is a gathering of demonstrators from across the western part of Canada to share in the crafty goodness that is Stampin’ Up!  I get to meet new people, stamp a little, learn about the new products coming out in the new catalog and altogether have a good time.  A usual thing that I do at this type of event is that I make little gifts for the girls that are on the team that I am on.  I know no one from my team will see this till next week so I don’t mind sharing with you.  The other gift I shall share with you next Friday after all the girls have gotten their gifts. So this little project is something that one can throw into their purse and use as a handy note pad.  Doesn’t someone always ask “Do you have any paper on you?”  Why, yes…yes I do we (paper crafters) should always say don’t you think?  I do.

So anyway, I will try to post as many pictures as I can on my Facebook page.  I get so involved that I sometimes forget to take a quick pic.  There are somethings that I am not allowed to share and some things that I can. I may even post a shot or two of me having a milkshake at Peter’s Drive in or the fancy dinner my sister is planning to have with me.  Oh, and don’t worry about the crafting kitties Molly & Quinn, they are being well looked after by the daughter who lives upstairs.  I even pay her very well so she does an extra special job looking after  the fuzz butts.  Enough chatter, on with the show….

How’s that for a catchy title?  I thought this little box was so cute.  I was give a little box like this for Christmas and it housed 2 toffee-chocolate squares inside.  The box got mangled as I tried to open it for sizing and so did the chocolates inside (let’s be honest here, I’m not chubby because I eat salad).  Any hoo….hope you like my little cute project.

Fabricate Friday – Box for a round jar/tub

Hello there.  How are you all today.  I hope you are starting off your weekend with something fun to do.  If not, here’s a fun box to make to keep you entertained. 🙂  I’m a giver, what can I say?  Lol.  I hope you enjoy today’s project, as it is using my favorite patterned paper “Cupcakes & Carousels”.  To my knowledge, I have never been on a carousel, my Mom may correct me if I am wrong, she comments on most of my blog posts and she’s my editor (I need something stronger than spell check, don’t you know?)  Anyway, I just love the vintage feel of the design and of course the colours.  So saffron is my favorite yellow and I really dig the peach too.  Tell me what your favorite Stampin’ Up! colour is…I would like to know.  On with the show…

Fabricate Friday – Box for Nivia

I know, I know…the titles of my posts are ridiculous.  I would hire someone to come up with amazing titles for everything but basically today I am making a box that houses a small tin of Nivia cold cream.  I do have a funny story included in the video about my family so even if you aren’t a box maker you may want to tune in to hear the way my family worked when I was little.  Don’t worry Mom, I haven’t spilled the beans about how weird we all were.  🙂  Anyway….hello there and welcome to another box making tutorial everyone.  Woop, woop!  It’s Friday and it’s a great day to get your craft on.  Hope you like the video and of course the supply list is below the still picture and the video follows that, with the recipe underneath.  Have yourself a great weekend folks and I will see you Monday. Oh, PS, I didn’t realize that this ribbon was retired so in the description I did leave an alternative for you to try if you like the colour.  🙂
