Monday Makes – Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

Happy Monday to you.  I hope you are doing well.  Today I have the alternatives for you.  I hope you enjoy the looooong video, have fun and get inspired.  Blessings to you.

Just a little reminder before the video.  You can order an add on to the fun new kit that is coming in July.  Even more summer cards.  What a cute idea.

  • The Summer Nights Kit includes nine postcards and coordinating envelopes, plus nine die-cut tealight bags. To receive this kit, your customers must have an active subscription by 10 July.
  • The Summer Nights Add-On is a separate purchase for those who would like to expand the Summer Nights Kit with a traditional cardmaking experience.
  • Once you have completed July’s kit, you’ll have leftover kit components—these pieces easily combine with the Summer Nights Add-On. No additional kit purchases necessary!
  • Between the leftover kit components and the add-on, it’s estimated that you will be able to create at least 20 additional Summer Nights cards!
  • The Summer Nights Add-On is $10.00 $13.00 CAD and is only available to Paper Pumpkin subscribers. The add-on is available while supplies last, beginning 1 July!
  • As with any other Stampin’ Up! product, you will need to purchase the add-on through a demonstrator order or the online store. It cannot be added to a Paper Pumpkin subscription purchase.
  • You must have an active Paper Pumpkin subscriber email to purchase the add-on.

First, I want to say that I love your work! You are so talented and inspiring.

The box you made from the card base in the July Paper Pumpkin alternatives video is brilliant. I made one, and if no one has told you, a gift card fits inside nicely. But it got me wondering if a similar box could be made from a 3 1/2″ X 5″ notecard. I mostly reduced your trimming and scoring to 1/2″ , but I also neededto trim off 1/4″ along the 7″ edge to create a piece 4 3/4″ X 6 1/2″. And I added a platform inside for the gift card to rest on. I’d send a picture, but I don’t know how to do that. Anyway, thanks for the inspiration!
