Fair Warning

Hello.  I am writing this post at midnight.  It’s late.  I worked all day today on my other job doing bookkeeping.  There is a deadline tomorrow where a certain tax must be paid and I left the work to the last minute…which is not like me.  It seems I am behind in a lot of things.  Perhaps I have too much on my plate…it’s possible.  I am not going to belly ache about it.  I just had to get it done.  I am a self employed hairstylist so I don’t have the luxury of having someone else do the work.  Well, I suppose I could pay someone but that would be expensive.  I tend to take care of this myself.  So in saying that, I had to spend a whole day doing book-work for 3+ months.  Ugh.  Not my favorite thing.  I have made the deadline, I filed the documents online and have paid the government via online banking…how about that?  Modern day conveniences.

You probably are curious why I am writing all of this.  I just wanted to let you know that I am taking tomorrow off.  Sadly, I don’t have any content and I don’t want to just throw just anything up here.  I have standards.  I have so many projects that are due on the first of the month that I will be concentrating on them first.  I do have a feeling that things will get back to normal, with regular postings and videos.

So, thank you all for your patience.  Thanks for hanging out with me.  The projects coming up are:

  • Tuesday May 1: Card kit of the Month Video & Blog Post & Email
  • Tuesday May 1: SuNN Social VIP Giveaway Live Video Draw

  1. Take your time and take a deep breath. Life can be so frantic at times that you just need to step back. Looking forward to your next post Susanne, but only when you are ready to do it. Look after yourself.

  2. Wow, I didn’t realize you had so many commitments with SU. Thanks for everything you do to keep us informed and educated. Last night I watched your OSW video again and I made 13 cards with the Springtime Foil DSP like you did. I used purple where you used copper. It was fun. Thanks for your inspiration.

  3. You have me convinced that a day off is indeed needed! What a long list of projects! But I’m willing to wait until you can bring us something cute and original, as always. So take your time.

  4. Hang in there! Don’t fret. I feel your pain and have found myself in a similar “the hurrier I go – the behinder I get” dilemma too. Anymore it seems if I had “just one more day” or even “just one more hour”, I could certainly get caught up and back on track. LOL!

Go easy on yourself. Love your art and creativity and it’s always worth any wait. Sorry you’re bogged down with ugly stuff like taxes and “adulting”. Yuck.

  5. Sue, at this time of the year we are all overwhelmed with things. Just take a breath, one thing at a time and everything will get done. Now I am off to the paperwork jungle 🗂🗃🗃🤨

  6. Susanne, even though you are not posting anything here today, you have your agenda planned for May & forward, which to me says your mind is still doing the work even though you didn’t give us anything today. Keep up the good work!
