Hi everyone.  I have moved to a new apartment.  Everything is in, however, it’s still a gong show here.  I was hoping to have some content for you today but it’s just not possible. Moving is stressful and I need to concentrate on setting up and settling in.  I have managed to get a few cold sores, chapped lips, split finger tips, sore feet and overworked my bad knee.  I was saying to a friend about when I moved 14 years ago I had my house set up in a day.  Not this move and I can’t decide which is worse…the fact that I am getting older or that I have way more stuff.  Lol.  I will say this, I am loving the new place…it’s gorgeous and I am now able to craft/work right in front of a window.  Such a change.   I just wanted to give you a heads up and let you know that I am taking a pass today.  Hope you don’t mind.

  1. Thanks for the update. Wish I could help. Hope your kitties will get adjusted to the new place quickly. They probably will hide for a while. Take pictures of your place after you’re settled in. See you later. ☺

  2. Take as much time as you need, Susanne; moving IS stressful and wreaks havoc on the body! I’m so glad your are loving your new apartment; take time to enjoy your new surroundings! I look forward to some pictures when you have time.

  3. Take a day or two or three. You deserve it. No one else gives as much as you in inspiration and tips & tricks and just plain old caring. Thank you for all you do and I’m thrilled you like your new place. Everything will find a home in time. Take a deep breath and tackle one room at a time.

  4. Dont put such high expectations upon yourself. Moving by yourself is very difficult. It sounds like you have such a lovely apartment so why rush? The apartment isn’t going anywhere and everyday you empty one box, you are one box closer to finishing.

  5. So happy to hear that you are all moved in and that you’ll have great area to craft in. Sorry about the knees etc. It’s amazing how things accumulate and multiply. Looking forward to seeing your creations once you’re settled in.

  6. Yes, we all have to much stuff, we just don’t realize it until we move! LOL, go slow, it doesn’t have to be done all in one day!…Take care of yourself…….we don’t want you to get sick…look forward to all your posts…..and yes, I hope the kitties adjust also……what was the crinkle tube you said they ran down….I’ve never heard of that….

  7. Take whatever time you need. Enjoy the moment and pace yourself. I can relate to not being able to go as fast as I could 20 years ago.
