Monday Makes – Simple Dragonfly Card

Hello and thank you for stopping by.  I appreciate you coming here every week.  For today’s card I am doing another “SIP” card.  For those of you who don’t know, SIP means = stamps, ink and paper.  So another clean and simple card (CAS) I don’t know when we crafters got into abbreviating everything…it has made me ponder on what the English language will evolve into?  I probably shouldn’t write what ever pops into my head but sometimes, you know, it just has to come out and I feel safe with you.  You won’t tease me too much, right?  Ok, want to see the card?

Thank you. Such a simple and cute card. I will do this with another set today as I am just getting so excited about being a part of a stampin up community. There are a few things that I am seeing that I need to get but I don’t want to do one at a time with shipping costs. I geuss I should just wait and send in an order when I have a decent list made up.
My husband (I wasn’t married to him when I did this a few years back) has NO idea what I’ve just jumped back into. 😊 I am an addict. Looking forward to being more involved with all the amazing things you have going on.

Shipping isn’t that bad. Under $100 it’s $9.95 but over $100 it’s just 10% of your purchases. I’m glad you are making a list. It’s good to think of what you need. I say spend the money on tools. Stamps come and go, you’ll always want them but if you spend your initial big purchase on tools you’ll never regret it. 🙂

Your card is really lovely, and you did great stamping the black outline second, even so. Love this set too … you can never go wrong with the clean and simple look, Susanne. TFS!
